If I had a list like that I can see how one would believe they were equal.

Thats because Bioware games blew up the gen after the N64.

I didn't own either. My best friend owned N64 -> Xbox in the same time period I owned PS1 -> PS2.
Based on this, I played Goldeneye & MK64 a lot at his house on N64; and Halo 2 a lot on Xbox. That's two games to one, so N64 wins :P
(Also went back to play a few of the classics on virtual console helps too :P)

In terms of actually being able to play the games I had? Xbox
Man oh man were those N64 controllers poorly built. I went through 4 of them and had one break when I dropped it on the couch, just stopped working. All of them were the damned Z button!
N64 by miles.
Xbox was a great system, Xbox Live killed anything else, and the value was massive compared to the competition. The only problem was the lack of support. Still the console had some great games, but to it is not even close to the N64. Nintendo still had decent 3rd party support and by far the strongest lineup of core games on any of their consoles.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
