So, it's almost like how Deadspace turned into onrail Deadspace.
3rd parties think people who buy Nintendos are idiots.

Not all people who buy Nintendos.  Just some.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

They don't underestimate the minority who buy Nintendo, they are trying to attract Nintendos majority. Tekkens sales are not going to be great on a Nintendo platform, just like COD wont.

Wow. Thanks, Nintendo, for putting Harada on the right track. Unbelievable what Bamco tried to do here.

Both games are already available on PS3/360, did anyone actually think the Wii U versions would sell well compared to their counterparts? I mean the games are launching late on a brand new console.

Ironclad proof that third parties are fucking idiots

Indeed.

"We were surprised that Nintendo wanted a good game."

Really says it all.

Sad but true. But this is Namco, they have no idea of what to do with their franchises. Look at the Tales series this gen. It took only 4 games and several ports for them to realize in which platform those games sell more.

“there are actually some moves where it's better for advanced players to input the commands themselves, because it might be quicker or it might be a better version of the move”

Translation: Just Frame moves like EWGF won't be doable via touchscreen. Thank god.

Why not? Soul Calibur 2 sold well on the Gamecube with a few Nintendo elements:

However, this is a different case, it is a launch game and it has been released in other two platforms.

Ima go out on a limb and say that harada thought the Wii brand was for kiddies and casuals, thus simplified gameplay made sense, in which case, lolololololol.

So by doing light hearted things to cater to the Nintendo crowd to add to the game they are already getting, how is that hurting it? While making Wii U a special console version they just wanted to make a game that fits Nintendos image. It's still Tekken, but with a little Nintendo flair.

Ima go out on a limb and say that Harada saw the sales of the 3DS version of Tekken 6 and thought 'I don’t want this repeated on the Wii U'.  So he wanted to play to the strengths of the Wii U, which is the tablet, but Nintendo was not having that, and thus the game is going to be sent out to die, again.
