Metascore is the best quality indicator we have. So yes, high metascore = higher quality game.

with the lack of many features i enjoy in gt 5 i personally can't consider forza the better game...

A glorified demo with hundreds of hours of content? (Even excluding the longer races).
Though I agree Forza has taken the crown, it's still very debatable. I should add GT5 now is not the same game as when it realised, it's probably the most updated game this gen and one of the best supported.

This post doesn't make sense for two reasons. Firstly, the PS3 is not dominating. Secondly, it has nothing to do with the topic at hand...

Higher reviews don't exactly mean the game is of higher quality.
Reviews are just opinions and aren't an indication of a quality game.
Brand name alone sells many of these games. The brand name alone is an indication of quality to many.
About this Forza vs GT thing....aren't they totally different games?
Isn't GT more of a racing simulator while Forza is more of an arcade-type gameplay?
