Never heard of it. Is this some kind of Uncharted ripoff?

Is there anything more satisfying than that feeling you get when Indy is in a really bad situation and he suddenly gets all fed up and the indy music kicks in and he kicks the enemy's ass?

Guys, here's a movie made by the AVGN that has some golden bits (start and end). The top 10 is kind of lame, but I thought that the intro and conclusion was very interesting.

@badgenome. You're not allowed to post in here until you vote YES in the poll.

4th one is redonkulous!
2nd one is really strange yet good
1st and 3rd are some of the best.

Oh, and the computer games... ah, Lucasarts (and Sierra), what a golden age for adventure games.

I've been playing some old LucasArts games on Steam, trying to make up for lost time. Finished The Secret of Monkey Island a couple months ago, and then I moved on to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I wanted to love it, but the focus on trial and error was frustrating, and the combat really turned me off. I managed to finish the game, but it was more of an ordeal than anything.

I hear the other Indy game is a real gem though. What was your experience with them?

3rd one is the best, and I always like the 2nd one better then the 1st as a kid.
The last one had it's comedy moments, it took things way too far.

There used to be a lot more of these kind of movies back then
King Solomon's mines
Alan Quartermain and the lost city of gold
Romancing the stone
Jewel of the Nile
They're not that good, but still very entertaining when I was young.

The adventures of Tintin is a worthy follow up to Indiana Jones imo.

As a very young kid I remember feeling a lot of difficult playing the first Indy game (Last Crusade the Adventure, never bothered with the Action version). It was hellish hard, I gave up. Then I bought Fate of Atlantis... and fell in love. One of the finest - I haven't played in 15 years, but I swear I can finish it by head in all 3 available paths just from memory - they were that good.

Even later, on a adventure revival phase I was going through I tried Last Crusade again, and loved it. Still hard, but also clever. From Lucasarts I don't even think it's the hardest - the dig for me, but compared to some sierra games I also like it's a walk in the park. I mean, finishing King's Quest 3 or Quest for Glory 2 is feat of intelligence.

Here's an interesting speech by Spielberg on how he became a director:

We gotta keep this thread going in happyd's absence.

How do you guys think the Indiana Jones movies compare to Spielberg's best movies?

I'd include Raiders in his top 5, along with Schindler's List, Jaws, E.T., and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

I love Indiana Jones. Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite and ironically I like the Last Crusade the least despite Connery. Yeah, I even prefer the Crystal Skull to it.

Happy D, stop calling people names.

George Lucas raped Indy!

amp, you're really out of it! You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Perhaps you're delirious! Last Crusade is tied to the number one spot with Raiders! And that last movie... come on! It's so much worse than all the other movies in the series, but having Shia LeTurd as Indy's son... FAAAAIIIL!!!

I really do love these movies! They're so god damn iconic! Indy 4 Life!!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
