Would you ban me for posting this?

I don't think people realize what a shit job being a mod can be at times.

Done with this site. Peace out.

If it's any consolation, I did see that it was implied that you are a troll.

It was heavily implied, but I didn't say it, and that's what counts.

OMG BYE BYE.

I would like to put myself forward and offer to become a mod, I think I would be perfect, I hate biased people and Nintendo fans.

To the already existing mods, how many notifications do you get a day. How many do you generally go over? Is it really that bad to be a mod? there's been so many that stepped down from the position.

Not necessarily. Example, When Bonkers said that you have all Sony Studios in your sig (which is true), he didn't explicitly call you a Sony fanboy, but you still felt compelled to acknowledged that you appreciated other companies games. If literally saying something is all that counts, then you would not have felt the need to clarify your gaming habits. He didn't actually call you a fanboy, but his intent was just as clear with the same meaning. That's what counts.

And this isn't just aimed at you only, but If a user wants to stealth flame other users (or any type of trolling/attacking), then fine. But don't act like you did nothing wrong when someone addresses it. Dancing around words to defend yourself when you obviously did something wrong is one of my biggest annoyances here.

Just felt the need to defend Bonkers who was obviously targeted in this thread.

Not too bad actually. Only thing that really bugs me are the people who have been banned for obvious trolling or flaming and then claim that they didn't do anything and ask why there were banned. (hint: look at the ban description and the linked post that caused the ban)

I think that probably stems from the fact that there are a lot of double standards on this site when it comes to moderation. Some mods appear to be very fair, others have their favourite users and seem to let them away with a lot (though I'm not singling out anybody in particular).

It's a problem that inhibits the development of a community.
