To reach a conclusion, you'll need around 4,500 posts. For it to last a month, you'd need to average 150 posts in the thread a day, everyone upvoting one thing and downvoting another. That's not happening.

I reference you to Gilgamesh's thread, which began with 100 points, cut to 50 points in post 381.

We are now at post 1,164, and only 21 devs have been eliminated. The thread began on 1st April.

Mathematically there will be a net loss of 2 points per vote. 5000 total points divided by 2 = 2500 votes until the end. Also, if it averages 100 posts a day, which is a conservative estimate, it will only last for another 25 days.

Alright then. We'll see. But I still don't see it. All you need is two warring factions (read: Nintendo vs. Naughty Dog) and you'll never hit a conclusion in anywhere near that time.

But we'll see. I think the winner will be either Star Wars, Toy Story or Inception ;)
