Forums - Microsoft - "Mass Effect 3 is Better With Kinect" Say Some People

xbox360achievements

Just in case you don't believe the hype surrounding Mass Effect 3's Kinect integration, BioWare and EA have rounded up some people, sat them on the sofa (or in some cases, the floor) and let them loose with the game's funky voice command system.

Are you fed up of pressing pesky buttons? Is your controller just far too heavy? Then you'll be loving shouting Kinect voice commands at the screen like an escaped mental patient. It's really fast and responsive, one person observes. I'm gonna buy a Kinect just for this gushes another.

Our advice? Check out the new Mass Effect 3 Kinect trailer and make your own mind up! Mass Effect 3 is out on March 6th in North America and March 9th in Europe, with the demo landing on February 14th with limited XBL Gold access.

No.

No.

Well, that rules me out.

Wut

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Kinect is an abomination. It makes NOTHING better. Nothing!!!

I got so use to saying 'grenade' in CEA that for a short while I forgot what button it was.

Voice commands look much deeper in ME3 so I'm not surprised some think it's more engaging.

No thanks!

Means you get to try out the multiplayer for a short time even as a silver member.

Unless I can have unscripted conversations with NPCs I'm not interested in voice control.
Press button, instant. Utter command, process command, not instant.

Just realized it's coming out on Valentine's Day.

I really don't understand why people are so against Kinect. As far as I know MS has not been forcing anyone to use Kinect. If you don't want to give verbal commands in ME3, I suggest you don't. And while your holding your tongue it would be nice if hold it when Kinect topics pop up. If you don't like it, fine, but stop bitching about it.

Haters going to hate. You obviously haven't played any Mass Effect games. You press a button to bring up a radial menu, then select action/weapon, then press to confirm. And when you're pumped up in the heat of battle it's a hassle, which is why most of the time I let my companions do their own thing.
