Explains why an innocuous question of mine about the Brink review and whether the reviewer had seen any of the issues that the ArsTechnica reviewer had experienced was repeatedly deleted. Guess we know where we stand with VGChartz and its 'ethics'- as soon as money is involved, there aren't any.

Killzone 3, GT5, and inFamous 2 are all good games so who cares? Also does anyone really take VGChartz news seriously? I sure as hell don't.

Absolutely not.

I want to categorically say that in all of my time on the review team not once have I felt pressure to alter my scores as a result of receiving review copies or us having an ad campaign going on for the game - the subject has never once even been broached by anyone, I'm proud to say, and I'm confident everyone else on the review team will be able to say the same thing (heck, the OP is the first I'd heard about any of this). But I'm angry about how this is going to look, because no matter what any of us say, this is understandably going to lead people to question gamrReview's credibility.

Thanks for clearing this up. To be  honest, I am a Sony follower first and foremost and after reading this I still most certainly do not question gamrReview's credibility.  I trust the reviews from this site simple as.

yeah, I'm pretty confused about this too. I wrote the inFamous 2 review, and I heard nothing about any of this. if these discussions happened, they were never implemented as far as I know.

Also, the funniest thing about this is that when I first submitted my review for inFamous 2 (rough draft), I gave it a 9.2, but I was told by the editors that I was being "a bit too enthusiastic" and that I had to make mention of the few glitches in the game, since it appeared I hadn't mentioned them. I'd say that's the opposite of what this is claiming.
