Forums - Gaming - Sony on Wii U: "What if you've got a family of six?"

So Sony puts it's big foot in it's mouth again. Andrew House apparently cannot comprehend the new Nintendo Wii U console. Complaining that a house of 6 may not all be able to participate in a gaming experience. The last time i checked Playstation Move can only allow 4 players at once. And 3D t.v's and 3D games (which is fully backed by Sony) all need additional 3D glasses to enjoy at around $100.00 per set, think how much it would cost to entertain 6 people. Seems Sony is suffering a bad case of "foot-and-mouth-itis".

u mad bro?

honestly :D calm down. don't take the number 6 too literally, the point he is making has merit and he is not 'insulting' anyone here. it's like saying what if people can't see 3d when talking about 3ds. the biggest selling point of WiiU is the controller right? without multiple controllers being supported at the same time the experience won't be the same. simple as that. no need to get so worked up about it.

If you've got 6, you're one closer with Wii U (even if all they support is one tablet), than any platform since the T16, since you get 5

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

At most PS Move allows to 4 players if all are with only the Move, if you want to play the combo Navigator+Move you can only play games for 2 players.

But i agree that only 1 can have the complete Wii U experience, the rest play a WiiHD experience. But, even that, is still great.

The King of make you buy new shit has no room to talk. I wished I could have used my PS2 controllers on PS3. What about the whole PSPGo. Ya let's just throw all thos UMDs away after 3 years. Now with 3D TV and all those glasses.
I rather buy my one WiiU Controller, and use all my Wii stuff.

Oh my.... is he serious? or just plain stupid?

This is why I will never like Sony completely. The PR statements are unnecessarily all the time. Honestly Microsoft PR, which isn't great either.....is about 100 times better.

The PS3 supports up to seven controllers. Always has.

OH damn 7 controllers, I almost don't see that ever happening though as online is ruling!

You could play 8 player local matches on the Saturn with games like Saturn Bomberman using a multitap.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

For the last time; you didn't need a psp go if you had a PSP already. it was for new customers that wanted a more portable experience. Not a new platform.
