What about final fantasy versus XIII? Will that game have towns?

Yeah, and if you don't want to support square... just wait a year and buy it used.
And still, quite a few people have already said that FFXIII has FFX-sized towns. But no one seems to care - once you enter the "complaining" bandwagon, you don't listen or read anything that might calm you down. =P
Well, I couldn't care less about towns, anyway. So... still hyped!

The ff13 comparison with ffx is totally missed since the game itself was a big departure from the previous installments on a new console. It must be said that it isn't that people were okay with the low amount of towns in ffx, a lot were not happy just as now.
The difference is that with ffx the game devs decided to try out a new way of creating gameplay in the ff universe while with ff13 they're talking about how they were too lazy to make towns and saying that it's impossible to do them on a scale comparable to even ff12.
That is such utter bull sh*t that you really lose respect for companies like square, they had all the time in the world to make the game and they failed to make a good one from the looks of it. There is no excuse when you have so many other rpgs out there that have more towns, sidequests and comparable levels of graphics (technical nature, not direct comparison, like mass effect 2).
It's somehow ironic that Se wanted to make a movie out of a game and it rather makes people pissed about it but then you have mass effect 2 which plays like a movie without all those god damn cgi scenes. This is something Nomura and company should carefully jot down so they don't screw up again.
If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...
Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.
