Makes me wonder if they "deserve" more good games, when they don't even appreciate the existing ones. (directed to everyone who's trashing DS:E and simultaneously claim the Wii deserves more support)

Well, yea. Not as much as some users, but a noticeable  amount.

For some reason I believe if Wii owners were giving the choice of Dead Space (port of HD version no motion controls) and Dead Space extraction...extraction would still sell better imo, I thought the whole point of the wii was to incorporate motion controls into every game like an arcade shooter

Except this sin't really an attack. When the developers stated its was a test "game" and butchered such test game to a genre outside of the audience it was "testing" the only fair way to truly test the game is by putting the game back on a console with a known market to see sales.

 

of course EA knows DS:E would fail so they wouldn't bother.

I was saying Dead Space Extraction would flop long before it came out, it's a game with no audience. Just Dance is a good game, you've said it's fun yourself though somehow "fundamentally terrible" in spite of that, and it has an audience.

I understand your frustration OP, but lets be honest. A year old port of a game when the true sequal Dead Space 2 is probably coming out around the same time would cannibalize its sales.

Want to compare on rails games from HD to Wii....compare Time Crisis sales to Dead Space sales.

Or maybe we will see Wii and HD simaltaneous releases of future rail games, in which case we will have to wait and see, but id bet it would comfortably be a nice 2:1 sale PS3 vs Wii.

Would you have bought DSE if it came out on a console you own?

Seriously, when was the last time HD owners have been told to buy this game you don't want or we're not making any more games on your console?

Does this even matter. A good game is a good game, so yeah I'd love to buy it.

And RE: Umbrella Chronicles, RE: Darkside Chronicles & House of the Dead Overkill (HotD 2&3 not so much).

No that would be a waste of time & resources.

EA should spend those resources on perhaps Mirror's Edge 2, Dead Space 2 & so on
