In the most recent edition of 'Bonus Round', from Gametrailers.com the main topic was which game was going to start off 2010 with a bang. The idea was that Mass Effect 2 would be that game to start the year off strong and save EA's ass. Pachter added input that he believes that Mass Effect 2 is a strong pick for GOTY calling it a "dark horse" and reminiscent of "Silence of the Lambs" in the fact that it came out earlier in the year but was a dark horse for best movie the year. The question is......do you agree with this statement?

to me, RPG is too hardcore to get "GOTY" award
neverthless, if they improve the shooting and make it a true "FPS/RPG" then perhaps it has his chance

no, I think it is completely ridiculous that he is talking about GOTY in January, I mean saying the first AAA game this year (which itself is based off 2 reviews) is a GOTY candidate is hardly rocket science

Well I voted for Pachter's an idiot, but not because I disagree with ME2's candidacy. He thinks it could be a darkhorse - I think it looks like a frontrunner.

I highly doubt it their are so many more high profile games coming out this year. At least it looks like its better then the first one that's pretty good.
