I am not denying some people who worked on VII are working on versus

but the vast majority of FF13's team is made up of the FF7 & FF10 guys.

I agree the KH devs are good devs, but imo the FF7 & FF10 team (basically the guys making FFXIII) are legendary, right up there with Kojima san himself!!!

I agree. I love turn based just as much as any JRPG fan, but KH's battles are a force of their own. They feel epic, especially after the Reaction Command was introduced(SORA/RIKU TEAM UP FOR THE WIN!!!!)

I'm sure it will be a huge improvement. You know I'm looking forward to VS. and the next Kingdom Hearts as much as the next guy, but we are really comparing apples and oranges here. Saying that Versus will be better just because you like a type of battle system better is strictly stating your opinnion. And that may turn out to be wrong.

I thought we WERE talking about opinions here? :P Anyway, I think the improvements they'll add to Versus combined with my preference of real time battles is enough for me to think Versus will be better battle wise. Of course there'll be people who prefer FF XIII, but I really doubt that I'll be in that group...

will you buy FF13 as well as FF Versus 13 when you get your Special Edition KH3 PS3 bundle in 2012?!

Versus
I like the modern day vibe with a 1930 mafia feel. Mixed with a post-apocalyptic futuristic fantasy world. Main characters look bad-ass with beautiful jap art style. That chick looks American with a jap school costume.

Versus Feels more like VII to me, while XIII feels more like X which is fine but i enjoyed all the VII games more then the two X ones...

For me they are the F4 (flower 4. For those who knows Hana yori dango, Meteor Garden and Boys over Flowers, you'll know what I am talking about) of Final Fantasy.

OT: It's to early to tell, not enough information about the game but I'll tell you honestly tell you it will Versus because I preferred it over FFXIII and I am biased over it.

Dark themed, Modern themed, Better character IMO (Noctis and Stella). Stella reminding me of Aerith. Versus also reminds me of FF VII, same feeling which is a good thing for me. Nomura has yet to dissapoint me. He is one of the Developers that's right beside Kojima, Ueda and other people that I looked up to for my favorite game developers and what forevercloud have posted.

 

PS: Can we please stop with the PS3 fan will go for Versus because it's exclusive to the PS3 BS. Yes! we all know that there are some people will go for versus because of exlusively thingy but it's totally unfair (and I am offended) for people like me that like it from the start or before E3 08 when you guys generalize us or all PS3 fans just like that.

The characters and the setting in Versus seems more interesting I think.

Half a year ago when information about both titles were scarce I'd have said Versus, no doubt, because of the awesome trailers (really, when did you ever see such great trailers :P )

It's really still too early to say though.. we'll have to wait til 2011/2012 to say.. :/ (release it already SE
