Btw, Resident Evil 6 will be a beast! I really cant take a bet now, but who knows if it double Resident Evil 5 first week(for PS3)? And i think it will reach 1m a lot faster than RE5.

Conception’s Battle System Basically Has you Surround Monsters

So, Conception: Please Deliver My Child (yes, that baby making RPG from Spike) lets you bring about a dozen star children to dungeons and battles. How are you going to control all of these characters at once? (And will this win you a father of the year award?)

Your kids are divided into groups and they encircle enemies when you get into a fight. Conception uses a positioning battle system where there are four areas around an enemy to stand in. You can move your kids around to hit weak spots and use elemental attacks to deal more damage. It’s also possible to evade enemy attacks by moving to different zones.

Those are the basics of battling with babies, Spike style.

Guess How Many Star Children You Can Have In Conception

In Conception: Please Deliver My Child the main character is whisked way to Granbana, a world that can only be saved with Star Children… you um… create. The game lets you raise up to 50 of them. That’s basically an entire army. Conception has standard RPG classes like Fighter, Monk, Magician, Archer, Thief, Cleric, and Merchant.

While you can bring twelve kids to battle, some of your offspring has to stay home. You can train stragglers by sending them to a growth shop. Kids enrolled in a class (either normal, hard or special) gain experience points when you’re crawling through dungeons. Keep training your kids and you can unlock advanced jobs – Hunter, Paladin, Berserker, and Magic Knight.

Conception: Please Deliver My Child is slated for release in Japan on April 26.
