Looks like preorders for MHP3rd did skyrocket after the release date was announced ;)

I'm thinking this game could have one of the biggest if not the biggest FW of all time in Japan. Depends on how they handle the stock. Last MH for the PSP had supply issues.

Very true.. 2 mil is definitely not outa the question...

it kinda reminds me of what Street fighter and resident evil were for capcom in japan. Hopefully they handle this franchise differently and dont end up with sub million sales

I would disagree here.....there's no way a Monster Hunter will have the biggest FW in Japan

"Released on Saturday and Famitsu have just now posted the numbers for the first weekend. This makes it the biggest first week in JP sales history, in half the normal time (2 days as opposed to the normal 4). Wowzers all round.
