Weed seems fun though....and coke.... oooh.... drugs.....

I just smoked. What I really like about weed is that when you have nothing to do everythings turns out to be awesome. For instance, music, sex or watching a comedy is awesome. I love watching south park high, specially some episodes like fishdick. However weed is so counter-productive, and its an addiction, not physical, but mental, which is bad enough, I don't recommend starting weed to anyone, except if you manage to really keep it in check. But that's tough especially if you don't have to worry about tne money. On average I'd say I spend at least 250 euros per month on weed, cigarettes (which I don't smoke but use for joints) and rolling paper. So a pretty expensive and futile hobby. LOL

Interesting Thread. Just to clear some things up. 

You maybe misinformed about Lorazepam.

Its actually no synthetic cocaine not even near the structure and the spectrum efficacy is completly different.

Lorazepam is in the Benzodiazepine class its a sedative which is often used against anxiety attacks and epileptic Attacks. 

Cocaine is an Upper. It affects directly the amygdala and makes the brain releasing Dopamine. Benzodiazepines are practically the opossite of Cocaine/Amphetamine.

Cocaine is almost not used in human medicine. People refer to synthetic cocain mostly to its derivates like Lidocaine and procaine. Those have no psychotropic effect. They just anesthetize the skin like cocaine but thats it. They are not dangerous and the only thing they have incomon with Cocaine is the chemical structure and the local anesthetic effect. Cocaine is the only psychotropic drug in its class.

BTW medicine is not illegal per se but drugs like THC, Amphetamine, Crystal meth (Methamphetamine used in some countries mainly NA) THC and Morphine are used as medicine  and are considered as drugs. Infact there is no way to make a cut between medicine and illegal drugs because they are the same. Heroine is almost not used anymore (even though the use of Heroine as medicine increasedin the couple of last years) but infact there is medicine outthere which is stronger more addictive then Heroine. Its senseless to exclude medicine people sell medicine as drugs on the street. 

I have read some posts and I think I should answer just to make some things clearer the reasons why people are taking drugs are various. its a myth that everyone tries to change the way they behave with drugs. Thats not true this is mainly happening in the younger ages. A lot of people do that but atleast as much people do drugs because it feels good and not to change the way they are. Drugs are releasing the same Hormones which are released when you play videogames have sex are succesful and so on just in a way higher dose then usually. That makes people addicted to drugs. The same reason why people are addicted to other stuff there is actually no difference. Only difference might be that drug users just want to drown in the pleasure and after a while the brain need the hormones to work as usual. Thats why some are losing everything and dont care about anything.

Does not compute. Where it's legal to do so, I would assume doctors are prescribing it as a medicine. You know... something with an active substance (THC) that has proven medicinal benefits.

Unless you think doctors are prescribing marijuana for fun. I find your poll hilariously bad as well. 

I mean, by your metric:

- Guy with severe MS takes marijuana under doctor's recommendation. He's on drugs!

- Another guy buys pills from a dealer and uses valium, oxycontin, tylenol 3 or other prescription-only drugs illegally. He's not on drugs!
