A PS3 or XBOX. Oh wait, I already had those and they spoilt.

id get a ps3. The only reason i dont have one is because i lack time to play video games anymore. Plus a couple of friends have a ps3 so i dont really feel compelled to go out and buy one.
Long Live SHIO!

Oh yes you are right it was an arcade board. But they made some prototypes and wanted to release it as a home console but they stopped hardware production and went bankrupt so they had no time to release it. The cartridges were out of metal and crome. They never released it but it existed. I remember this article in the video game magazine. If I could just remeber how this maganzine was called. They explained how much power it has that the games are still on cartridges but even bigger then the AES games and even more expensive.
Mmm, this is the question i have been trying to answer for a long time, i think the answer will be out in a few months after a price drop for either PS3/X360 and also the price drop for the LCD TV i need to get the most out of the systems.
I have been thinking in the situation i have, and how i would enjoy the most each console. I have the Nintendo Wii, it is a great system, i got about 10 games for it, but the Wii lacks of games i like and you can only get in the HD systems.
We have in one side the X360, it has key advantages:
1) Great quality games (400+ games with an average Metacritic score of 70+).
2) Here in Colombia, the games are very cheap imported from Microsoft itself.
3) The X360 is cheaper than the PS3.
But it also has disadvantages and things i dont like:
1) It comes from Microsoft ! ! ! (Look at my avatar !)
2) The RROD
3) The games are usually incomplete and they make you pay twice for the games you already own throught DLC (and of course, the Xbox owners love it ! ?!?!?!?!?! )
The PS3 has some things i like:
1) The Blueray, thought i dont watch that many movies
2) The design of the PS3 Slim is very eye-candy
3) The games it has now seems to be done a little bit better and it is not like the FPS-focus the X360 has.
4) Most games are complete when you buy it, i really hate that DLC stuff so popular in the X360
Some things i dont like:
1) The PS3 is expensive ! (Still ! ! !).
2) The games are even more expensive, about U$100 each normal game ! (i dont even want to know about Final Fantasy XIII !).
3)
Honestly, i dont know what to do, the X360 would be the best minded-decision, but i really dont like the feelings i have about the company itself and the DLC stuff. The PS3 would be my heart-choice, but my pockets would be empty in a few months and i would be by the end of the year nearly starving XD XD XD.
At the moment, i m feeding the Wii with some games, but still, there are gems i dont wanna miss in the HD Gaming (and i dont wanna miss a thing ! Yeah, yeaaaaah, YEAAAAAAAAAAAH XD).
@abcdario
How come that Xbox games are cheap and PS3 games are 100 Dollar ?? And what do you mean with imported from MS itself ? You mean they exported them to colombia directly. Or is it some joke because you can download them via windows ? And Sony games have to be imported because they dont send to colombia ?
Well, the X360 games are with the same prices as the one you see in the U.S., i believe it is cause they are imported from MS itself.
Nintendo here has hired another company and charges more so the games are about U$70 or even U$100 (Mario Kart With Weel, SSBBrawl).
Sony has a Sony Style store and their stuff, but they are soooooo expensive ! i can save about U$100 on a 32" FullHD Bravia TV just walking to the next store (in the same mall !).
Hey, we here are not rich, but they even charge us a lot more than in japan itself X_X
i'd like a decent pc, black wii, dsi... or even a dslite (i still use my dsphat and my wife's dslite looks so nice).
I own a 60GB PS3 (and PSP/DSLite). I want to get a wii in the future.
