I'm listening to the Activision earnings conference call and they said that GH3 did $100 million in the first week. I'm a little ticked they didn't break down sales though, since the Piper Jaffrey guy asked the question.

I'll guess at an average sell price of $70 by combining the software only with all the platforms with guitars. If so, that would make around 1.4 million in unit sales.  

Does anyone have any solid per-platform sales numbers? I'd love to see what the platform breakdown looks like.

Well thats not saying much since it was on the PS2, Xbox 360, PS3, and the Wii. Guitar Hero 2 sold a lot and it was just on the PS2 but since this is on all the platforms this gen and one last gen then it will sell more.

Um, GH2 was on the 360.

I bought the Wii version.

I will bet most people got the Wii version as well.

 I wouldn't "bet" that at all.  Even the 1 day sales ioi accidentally put up of the guitar hero games had the 360 numbers at about 130k and the wii version at about 54k.  You think just because it's a party game it's going to magically sell more on Wii when it has an already existing guitar install base of over 2 million ps2 and over 1.6 million on 360? 

You're going to be sorely mistaken when the numbers come out tomorrow and I'll be sure to remind you when they do!  =)

If you look at Guitar Hero III on each platform, you can see the sales before ioi removed them.
