Don't forget to change the data to pageviews on the dark blue navigation bar at the top of the chart. They have dropped from a peak of 0.08 to a current number of 0.019.

I know I've not visited that site in quite some time. It used to be a regularly visited site for me but now its just VGC, N4G (for the laughs) and Malstrom in terms of gaming. IGN is basically Gamespot lite and after Matt's meltdown its pretty much Gamespot 2.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Let me get this straight:

Th general public : Wii fans, have left IGN which has caused a major decline in viewership. Now, where did those Wii fans go ?

Good question, I don't know the answer to that. Speaking for myself, I come here as I find this site reports about stuff I like reading about. Sales success, and reports information that I find valuable or interesting in regards to the games I like. Of course, it is just my theory based on what I see: that most of the IGN fans going are Nintendo consumers; they used to be very numerous on that site, but now seem to be in the minority. I could be wrong and it may be that they are driving away Sony and Microsoft Consumers as well, and Nintendo consumers are just no longer very vocal; somehow I doubt that.

Your belief is the same as people claiming this site is driving 360 fans away and you using its decline as an excuse.  Truthfully, IGN is more than just gaming. A lot of website have seen such decline and the biggest evidence, as popular as the Wii is, it's a very small userbase online. Most Wii owners have never heard of IGN.

vgchartz could perhaps be one of the sites. This site has seen a fairly nice upward trend over the past year =)

Oh well, I never went to IGN anyways.

Searves them right for not giving Galaxy a 10 and NSMBW a 9.5.

Think this is why they changed the look of their website.......(New logo sucks). But their youtube subscribers have more than double for the last 6 months

Hm, I remember when I used to visit IGN a few times every day, without exception. That was only like a year or 2 ago. Nowadays, if I visit them once or twice a month it's a lot. Not too surprising to discover others have stopped visiting too. They've really gone downhill, imo.
