Unfortunately, despite Final Fantasy 13 being vastly superior... It wont have the "game changing" impact FF7 did.

And we wont have people calling for a FF13 remake, 10 years from now.

Many people say "JRPg's on consoles are DEAD"

FF13 will spawn an ENTIRE new generation of console JRPG fans & so making JRPG alive on consoles not dead

she was designed to "look" similar to cloud by square-enix & TBH she doesn't even look that similar to him anymore from the latest CGI trailers & FF13 trailers

I think Final Fantasy 13 has a chance to be iconic. Luckly for FF13, jrpgs have been pretty damn weak this generation (other then ToV, VC and LO). FF13 might just be the game to get gamers to love the jrpgs genre again and motivate other gaming companys that make jrpgs to elevate there games (just like what FF7 did). Lightning just need to be a badass character with a badass rival (cause seriously, without Sephiroth, Cloud wouldn't be as popular as he is today and without Cloud, Sephiroth wouldn't be as popular as he is now). FF13 also needs a standout moment that will be remembered by gamers for years to come (like with Aerith's death scene in FF7).
