A year or so after the PSP GO isn't too bad. How often do phones come out with new versions?
I just hope they come out with a UMD less version. It also sounds like it will have backwards compatibility...

some sort of online playing from anywere would be AMAZING! (wont happen) OR WILL IT?
Sony charging for PSN next year? PSN on the go maybe? so we can play when ever we want...WOW that would be sik!
Seems like Sony is pulling a SEGA and putting out new versions yearly that completely undermine other versions. I wonder how that will play out. ;)
a umd disc reader that is attached to the psp2 by a cord should come out as a peripheral, using said device would create a 1 time back up of the disc based games which people own onto the psp2's internal memory.
-upgraded graphics
-full bc
-2 analogue sticks
-touch screen
-same form factor as psp go
-video camera, (why not, they are in ipods)
-full launch of system moving games, (only available on PSP2, not PSP) like Uncharted, the return of crash bandicoot on PS, twisted metal, the sims!
- initial price of $250 would do well (I would buy it and I doubt they would go lower)
-If $200 at launch, then look out DS!
-If more than $250, then.... ouch
So why do people buy PSPs anyway. Not trolling but it seems every single year a new one is released with no real difference.

@superchunk
SEGA put out versions that had games exclusive tot hem
In that case Nintendo is more similar to SEGA as its done that with the DSi & DSi exclusive games
PSP GO doesn't have exclusive games

That point I completely disagree with........one of the big reasons the DS is whooping the psp's ass in hardware and software sales is because the DS differentiates from the home consoles.
Why play uncharted crash etc. on a handheld when they could be played the way they are suppose to on the home consoles......cheap ports are not the way to go on sony's next handheld and I hope nintendo has made them realize that.
N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!
yes PLEASE
I do not want a PS3 clone within the PSP 2
I have a PS3....no point in having a clone of it, but just portable as I do not travel much & most people don't either!

Are you kidding? It's terrible. If MS tried to pull a stunt like this the entire industry would be riding them for it.
@topi: I'm still PSP-less, so what I want to know is if it will be fully backwards compatible. That might be enough to make me bite.

Well it worked out well for Sega, so...
