anyway, i was going to end it there, but i might as well respond to the original post n shit. so here goes:

your friend has some... maturing to do. most people who say mario is for kids usually have little mans syndrome and they feel like they need to play big mature games with naughty cussing to make themselves feel cool. n stuff.

id say fuck the triple and keep playing the wii. the wii is going to kill with its 2010 line up. this is truley the first year that i think wii software is going to be the best of the three companies. (2007 had a very good line up too)

if you can't see the fun in PS3 games that's fine as not everyone has the same taste in gaming (I personally tend to prefer 'complicated' or rather 'deep' games to 'simple' ones)

for people like you there thankfully is a Wii on the market and as long as you feel you have enough games to play there is little reason to doubt your own choice

Your cousin needs to know that the X-Box 360 has far more violent FPS type games then the PS3 does. Infact it has way more games in general. Don't nescessarily try to take him on and prove the Wii does. Instead of imposing your logic tear his apart.

Fact is the Wii has plenty of A quality titles, just as many as the PS3 if not more. Nintendo's titles may not be the same kind of titles (Violent/FPS) but their are plenty of AAA+ games to be played on the Wii.

As for your own doubts, maybe youre right in a way, if you like violent FPS titles and more mature content then maybe the Wii isn't your console, or maybe you need two consoles. Infact Nintendo actually incouraged gamers to buy a secondary console like the 360/PS3 and I remember Microsoft's Peter Moore saying that Microsoft 360 owners should pick up Wii's.

Fact is with just the Wii you can't enjoy everything their is to offer this generation, same goes vice versa with just the 360 you can't truly enjoy all their is to offer this generation. In the end a true gamer needs to have a Wii and a secondary console to truly enjoy this generation. Don't get mad at me for saying it Iwata and Moore said the exact same thing back at E3 2006!

And, I was proving him wrong, in both his assumption about what games constitute AAA PS3 games (not just violence and FPS) and his mentality about the system (hence the N-Gage/DS analogy).

Only Nintendo boards I enter fit all of these criteria: 1) They are on the front page and 2) Involve the HD consoles in some (comparing sales, graphics, and other things that could possibly be compared).

If there's a thread talking about "I want the new Zelda to come out" I don't go in there. If there's a thread about "The Wii will eventually get (insert HD game) eventually" or "Why do people think the HD consoles have better games than the Wii?", I'll enter it and give my 2 cents.

Recent example: when they compared LBP to NSMBWii. Saying it was crappy by comparison and that it wasn't innovative
