I voted for McCain and I have fairly conservative viewpoints on most topics, but even I thinkknow she's crazy. I might even vote for Obama if she runs even though I think Obama is doing terrible with his domestic policies and only mediocre with foreign policy. However, I know that at least most (read, nearly all) of the pieces of what we know as America will still be standing when he leaves office. I'm not sure that pieces of ANY country would be left standing if Palin was president...

I think Obama would win in a landslide. I want Romney to get the nod. Sarah encouraged the base in 2008 to alleviate the fears of a liberal GOP ticket and now she is politically toxic.

Why would Palin even bother running? She quit her post as Governor of Alaska because she figured out that there's more money and less work involved in talking at conservative conventions and flogging books ghostwritten for her than there is in being a politician.
I suppose she might decide to run in 2012 if she thinks it's a good move for her pundit career.

I wouldn't say that. Palin didn't help, but there were a lot of other factors. People were fed up with Republicans, McCain ran a horrible campaign, and the media was clearly in Obama's corner. Even conservative pundits were falling all over themselves to say what a great and inspiring speaker Obama was. I was really surprised that Obama won by only 7 points.

Romney is the Republican John Kerry.
From my safe place 11000 miles away I'd say that Condolezza Rice would be much better contrcandidate for Obama.
At least democrats wouldn't be able to play race or lack of experience cards against her.

The Americans will vote Obama out of government in 2012. It would not matter who is running as the Republican US President candidate in 2012. The American people are extremely anti-Socialist/Communist. "We do not want Communism in our country"
