I wouldn't say that. Palin didn't help, but there were a lot of other factors. People were fed up with Republicans, McCain ran a horrible campaign, and the media was clearly in Obama's corner. Even conservative pundits were falling all over themselves to say what a great and inspiring speaker Obama was. I was really surprised that Obama won by only 7 points.
