Master Chief is Microsoft's Mario. For any of their systems to be successful Master Chief is needed at the forefront. Considering 343 Industries has probubly already been developing Halo4 since they were founded a while ago I can safely assume that this line up for the next X-Box is coming next Christmas or at latest 2011. But it will have been five years since the 360 launched and Microsoft did say at the launch of the 360 that they were going to have 4 year life cycles.

So if they had planned for a four year life cycle then they are over due for the next X-Box. NexBox coming next Christmas I bet with Natal bundled with the console! Also Halo4 launching within 6-8 months of the next X-box!
