As a kid i loved playing the classic tomb raider games for the playstation 1

So now that i got the "Wii"           :D i want to play the tomb raider wii games but i want to know the hours of gameplay it'll add up on these two tomb raider games below.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Tomb Raider: Underworld

Please let me know which game is longer :)

Please don't buy a current gen Tomb Raider game. Retain your pleasant childhood memories of what used to be a fantastic series.

I haven't played either, but you may want to know that Anniversary is a remake of the original game.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

If this is true, buy Anniversary.

i found a website to fix that problem with the bug in underworld but if underworld is shorter i might go with Tomb Raider Anniversary. :D

Let me know what website that is please.   I played both, Anniversary is definitely the better of the two.   I don't know why they didn't keep the exact same controls from Anniversary for Underworld but Underworld's are not as intuitive and the game feels rushed.    I totally enjoy Anniversary.  Sorry I sold it now.

Anniversary was sooo much fun to play, until like 3 hours in when I got really tired of doing routine after routine.

I really need to get motivation back to finish that game. By the way, it's the only TR game I've ever played. >_>

the bug is only there for pirates...

The bug is a flaw in the scripting of the game. I have posted a walkthrough on how to avoid it on the game's page here on VGC. But still, you better avoid Underworld, it's pretty bad overall.

EDIT: Gamerace, here I copypasted it for you.

At the end of the second level of this game, Thailand, it occasionally happens that a lever doesn't appear which makes it impossible to proceed. In case you have already saved past a certain point, you have no other choice than to restart the entire game. The lever only appears if you have triggered a certain message earlier in the level.

About halfway through, you reach a big statue of Kali and Shiva. After dropping down to the bottom of this area, save, then head up the stairs on the right side first. Near the statue is an ornament with several crystals. Examine it to learn that one crystal is missing. Once you have done that you can continue as usual and the lever at the end of the level should be there. In case it isn't, although I have tested this several times and it always worked, reload.

Players who took the left path first and already collected the crystal from the ornament on the left side, won't receive the message of a missing crystal when they examine the ornament on the right side, thus the lever at the end of the level does not appear, making it impossible to proceed. While at first it seems that it is entirely random whether or not the lever appears, it's only a matter of some strange scripting in the game. So make sure to trigger this message, if you want to complete the game.

Thanks

No it isn't.

Looks like his jokes are really that bad.

isn't that an intentional bug made by the devs?

much like the Batman AA one?
