I fear now that SW3, FFCC:CB and to a certain extent ToG will bomb.

I wouldn't worry about Tales of Graces; it's part of a relatively well-known series and the pre-orders have been reasonably good.  So I think it'll have a chance to sell.

I really don't know about Samurai Warriors 3, but we'll have to see whether that game will attract new core gamers or not.

Crystal Bearers is a gamble, but even with the decreasing sales of Wii games, I still think it may have a chance to put up decent numbers overall (although I think most of its audience is more likely to come from the West).

@Majin-Tenshinhan,
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii) Japan LTD sales are at 620k. And that is a lot for Japan.
Also, first day sales are usualy 2/3 of first week. But with current first day sales, it will have hard time to reach even 300k LTD.
Or maybe the game is not just frontloaded. But still, when you get 10% of shipments for a first day, this really means that somenthing is wrong.

oh i was kinda off doing it all on memory but i finally found the numbers, mario and sonic sold 13k first day and 66k first week.

The red bolded parts don't agree with each other.

However, I do agree that 10% of shipment for first day doesn't show a very strong sign. It reminds me of Deca Sporta 2 although Deca Sporta 2 did go on and sell about 9 times it first week. (8.8K first week, 80k lifetime). 150K-200K would likely be a realistic goal for M&S at OWG. I do think that it would have a better shot at 300K than 3D Dot Heroes at 100K.

Well, the game will have to eventually sell out of its first shipment. Especially when retailers drastically cut the price of games like Deca Sports 2.

Also, poor Sakura Note. I thought that was going to be pretty good.

I expect Graces to do decently, a little better than Vesperia PS3 but not as well as the PS2 Tales. Maybe around 350k lifetime. It's a Team Destiny game too, which tend to sell better than Team Symphonia's stuff.

Sengoku Musou 3 is going to tank by series standards (I bet it's under 250k lifetime) but the series was on a steep decline already on PS2 (from 1m SM1, to 500k SM2) and Koei's been AWFUL about building any sort of Musou base on Wii.  Really, they should've had Gundam Musou 1-2, Shin Sangoku Musou 5-6 and Oriochi Musou 1-2 on the machine already, especially since they've got PS2 versions ready to port...

not great sales for 3D Dot heroes

bad sales for Mario & Sonic

good sales for PES

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

PS3: add FFvsXIII, Batman AA, Fight Night R4, Sacred 2, Dante's Inferno, DarkSiders, Rainy Woods, Shadow Hunters and The Last Remnant (lol).  Also, Tales of Vesperia already released and White Album is still tba 2009.

Wii: add Monkey Ball Athletic, Madworld, DDR Music Fight, Red Steel 2, Silent Hill R, Lost in Shadow, Disaoh and Swords of Legendia.  I bet Wii gets a DQ7 remake too.

Strangely, it seems JP publishers are far more supportive of WiiWare vs PSN. :/

You think DQX will be releasing in 2010? I think Versus XIII has a much higher chance of releasing in 2010 and I don't see that on your list.

I think he was mostly concentrating on Japanese publishers and not so much on Western flare like Batman, Fight Night, Red Steel 2, etc.
