Neverwinter Nights is the closest relative. The pause feature makes it reminiscent of Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale as well.
The game really reminds me of the elder scrolls series personally.... which of course is a glorious thing >:)
I think this game is one you'll want long term for the PC, because of the modding aspects, but I'm whoring on the 360 for achievements. Yet another dual purchase for me this holidays...geesh, my wife is going to kill me...$800 spent on gaming!
