What's up with this over shipped stuff. I think 2.5m is a great number. This is Tekken we talking about here one of the best fighters ever. I think it will sell around 3m life time.

good on them for convincing the shops that that many units will sell

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Holy mother of overshipping !!

Fallout 3 shipping 4.6 mil first week anyone

I don't get it, what's funny about that?

The fact that it was a huge overshipment.

I don't think so. They shipped so many on purpose, knowing it would all sell out eventually.

That's irrelevant to the publisher. As the more they ship earlier the more money they make from the game.

Unless of course none of them sell and they have to buy them back from the retailers of course.

Must be why 2 weeks after release you could buy it for half the price it was on release.

Oh. In Uk?

But I've read many here on VGC say that Fallout 3 was one of few games that kept being full price even 6 or more months after release.

High hopes.
