The suspension is indefinite. I reccomend you take this time off to study the laws of treason and blasphamy. |
When I played the first couple of chapters after the climbing and stealthing tutorials, I was feeling the same way too, but once I got to chapter five (urban warfare), the game started building up some momentum. The chapters of the train and beyond is where it really started to set itself apart from the first game.

I played the Online Beta when it was Exclusive AND when the Online Demo came, i've seen enough to judge. |
The online demo was a reasonably enjoyable multiplayer TPS.
The full campaign is one of the most incredible single player experiences of all time.
In my opinion, of course.
It could be that nobody who disliked Uncharted bought the sequel, and of course nobody who enjoyed Uncharted would dislike Uncharted 2.

You're just about where it starts to pick up. Soon you'll be in collasping hotels, trains, trucks, and awesome new locations. I'm a big fan of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, but Uncharted 2 really blows it out of the water.

Changed as much as what?
PS: If you're not up to Chapter 10, your opinion of the game is invalid.
Also, Chapter 14 (I think it's 14, the one which is exactly the same as Chapter 1) is a complete waste of space.
Is this the dawn of a new age? Good games transcending personal bias? I'd like to say yes. Yes it is.

Chapter 14 is not a waste of space. You're quickly over the part that you have already played, and it helps you stay in the right mood.

NO! No it isn't!
It has Drake with even more witty talk. No way is that a waste!

At least, the first half was a waste of space. The first time, I didn't mind, because I was too busy thinking "ZOMGTHISGAMEISAWESOME!" but the second time, it became "Oh god, not this again." The entire chapter is a nightmare for collecting treasures because Drake staggers around like he's just been shot in the stomach (fair enough, he has, but why was he walking fine when the enemies were alive?), and there is zero visibility and it gives me a headache.
Chapter 15 would have been better if Nate didn't do this slow amble through the village. But I still liked it.
