| PullusPardus said: actually i felt like a team on CoD1,2. 3 was to me boring boring boring! i was talking about 4. on 1 you felt like you were playing both sides of the coin, and that it felt like an actual war, there is alot of emotions in the characters, though its still arcady like all CoD the atmosphere is there. in CoD4 like i said, your characters feel alot like ... Duke nukem, they just go there kill everyone and do a oneliner. and CoD5 was like 3 boring. |
It seems like my post was a bit unclear. I said "in the first three games they made"
I thought of:
1. Medal of Honor Allied Assault (core team of IW)
2. Call of Duty
3. Call of Duty 2
CoD3 and CoD5 aren't IW games.
And like I said you're mixing the British part with the American part of the story. In CoD4 you have 2 different characters. One of them is a simple soldier (the American guy) and one of them is a member of the SAS (British guy). Only play the American missions and it does feel like a war like in CoD1 and CoD2.
But even in the British missions you always have a group of teammates around you. But of course not as many as in the US missions. I can remember far more incidents in CoD1 and CoD2 where you have to seperate from you team.
