the Rainbow Six games are alot underrated, they did all the stuff CoD4 wants to be multiple times, there is also there is brothers in arms series, while in MoH games your character is a lone warrior against an army, the game still feels like there is a war going on, lots of teammates die, there is this atmosphere going on, and it feels like a desperate fight, that was what i liked in CoD1 , heck i liked that game more than the MoH games. but they overdone that superhero thing in CoD4 which to me lost that atmosphere im talking about. |
Fair enough though those games try to aim at a slightly different direction. In both R6 and BiA you're the head of the team and you are the one who gives orders whereas in CoD4 you only receive orders.
Different approach, but yeah you don't feel too overpowered. Although you could correct that in the difficulty setting. (Not in the early Rainbow Six games though)
