Actually pretty good sales. First time in awhile that year over year sales is at least in a similar range (although Wii still a good bit down from last year). But some pretty good sales for all 3 and Wii pricecut must have had a bigger effect than originally perceived unless it got some boosts during the month which Source and myself don't agree with. DS and some Wii software might be a little lower than ours but may be able to account for that due to walmart discrepancies.

Overall seems like a pretty good month for September that both NPD and VGC are showing.

yeah we knew NSMB Wii was gonna sell more than FF13

but as for Famitsu Estimates

its WAY TOO LOW on both NSMB Wii & FF13

FFXIII will sell more in 2009, but NSMBwii should have more legs.

For hardware, FFXIII should move more.

Also you seem awfully concerned with damage control in this thread, I'd hate to see what you'd do if the PS3 outsold the Wii for a year.

Fuck it, I think the Wii and PS3 will be within 50k of each other in Octobers NPD.

That's it? 5 weeks recorded sales with a price cut and new system relaunch only got them over the Wii by 30k?

Looks like the tsunami of sales everyone hyped here turned out to be someone jumping in the kiddy pool.

Not even the Wii can put up a fight against the Slim now.

Damn Sony for being so good at cost reductions. That saved them.
