Forums - Sales Discussion - The Official NPD September Thread (5 wks ending Oct 4, 2009, Data in 3 hrs)

Seems like the Wii and PS3 price cuts were effective, but the 360 one not as much. Was expecting a bit higher for PS3.

PS3 has a shot at outselling Wii in Japan this holiday and the 360 in the US (and worldwide).

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

ps3 a beast !!

I hope this is easier to read.

wow, Beatles Rockband on X360 actually outsold the Wii version by 50k. VGC had it 20k in the favour of the Wii.

PS3 Batman AA RULES

also why does it say SQUARE-ENIX there?

Darth you are no longer a knowledgable gamer on vgchartz, if you didn't know by now that eidos is owned by square enix.

Well you said PSP GO did nothing when it comes out on OCt 1....LOL!

besides I didn't know eidos made Batman:AA

@leo-j

I know, I just didn't understand why acevil thought it came out in september!

Um Because September data ends on October 4th? Even with 4 days or 3 days, it should still have had an impact. That is why I wanted to know last months numbers and last years numbers from NPD for the PSP.

NPD only goes from SEPT 1 to SEPT 30

Famitsu estimates don´t agree

NSMBwii > FFXIII

but it will be close =)

it is VERY likely the ps3 will easily outsell the 360, unless we see that $149 arcade..

The wii and ps3 are the interesting ones, the PS3 should beat wii in japan with FF XIII, and OTHERS may be a virtual tie..

Guys, NPD is five weeks every March, June, September and December. This month was August 30 to October 3. We have a couple days of PSP Go numbers and Wii price cut figures in here.
