I own two legit Wiis.
Why does modding your Wii in some way have to be all about pirating? The Wii's homebrew community is the best of all three consoles and they do plenty of things that one shouldn't think is morally wrong. At the very least, what's wrong with doing it just to get DVD playback on the console, or free homebrew games, or a new menu system, or an alternative browser, or running DOSBox from the Wii, or listen to the radio, or a number of other cool things and applications? Modding doesn't have to be about piracy.

If you mean "legit" as in sitting in my entertainment system unused and collecting dust for months, then yes, my Wii is indeed "legit."

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
I wouldn't even know how to mod it. So mine is "legit", as you put it.
2 of my friends modded their Wii and within a week, it broke. One sent it in and got all data back, but the other is afraid he won't, and that he'll be charged around $90.
