I play this over my cousins house all the time. I enjoy this game a lot and have put many hours into it and it's not even my game. However, I seem to never get into a game online.

amazing game with enough content to last you hundreds of hours in single player, with a very fun and replayable multiplayer component to boot! I love all the settings ans rules that you can change to really change things up.

the only thing holding it back is the crappy, laggy, and plain horrific online.

Pro's

  • Sonic!
  • An amazing multiplayer experience.
  • Over 600 hours so far... every battle is a new experience.
  • So much fan service, it really nails everything a Nintendo fan could want.
  • Wonderful soundtrack.
  • Final Smashes are a great addition to the series.
  • No more wave dashing.

Con's

  • Online was more of a chore than anything.
  • The Subspace Emissary was an improvment over previous SSB single player outings, but still lacked the frantic fun of the multiplayer.
  • Metaknight...
  • Infinite grabs...
  • Some characters are still basically "clones" of other characters.

Over all, it's a great game that I've played to death and will continue to play. 9.4/10

Everyone uses him. Like... everyone. And for good reasons too: He's an extremely powerful character with crazy priority. There's a reason he's #1 on the tier lists.

He gets knocked around the stage too often. He can't stay on for shit. Also, he doesn't really have any powerful moves that are good at knocking people off the stage. The only good I ever really saw in Metaknight was that he was good at building up percentage.

+ Lots of interesting characters and stages
+Smash Bros Formula still fun
+Music and graphics are great
+/- Level creator was a cool feature, but should have been more fleshed out.
- Online is awful, especially with random encounters
-Subspace story mode could have been better

I'm a Toon Link main too! He's definitely the most fun character in game. Especially when you play on the Windwaker stage with the song of storms playing in the background...

A solid 9.5

Its an awesome game for what it is, but a terrible disappointing game for what it isnt.
