5.8

The atmosphere was dull.  Transversing the world was a laborious task.  While the amount of quests/tasks to do, focus was largely absent.  Also combat feels clumsy at points.

& your a fan of pokemon? lol

___

did you never quick jump on the map?

All those things equate to a 5.8?

Really

8.5 (Note I only list the negatives)

- Get off me your filthy beggars!
- Why does everyone have a third eye watching me steal their stuff!
- Where did my hero horse go!?
- When I kill the cities whole population it should stay that way!
- I love being stuck in the rocks!
- Stop saying the same things or I'll kill you!
- Stop copying the guy that I just killed!

Former something....

Oh not this again, please!! Why can't he just be entitled to his opinion of the game?

Agreed!  Lets drop it.  Haven't we learned by now that arguing with people about their review scores NEVER changes them?

The combat in Oblivion is fantastic.

I know many people complain about it, but I never understood why.

While in most games, like The Witcher for example, you have nicer animations, I think Oblivions combat is much more realistic. It's very organic and raw. You feel very connected to the physics and the power of the combat, there's an immediate feedback for every hit and move.

Even playing with a keyboard and mouse it feels like there's rumble, it's that good.
(and on console versions you have rumble of course)

Archery in it is fantastic, but sword and shield too.

{zips mouth......but vows to rate down pokemon games in the future for not evolving 1 bit & have his revenge.....shakes fist in the air}
