Why do so many people hate EA?  They have their fair share of great games that come out each year.

Because it's a chance that their console of choice, the PS3, will lose a major developer. They lash out in fear of that happening.

The responses like 'I could care less' or 'EA hasn't made good games' come from rather immature folks IMHO. They act all big and bad, but when something like that happens, they'll default to the 'It's not fair! Bill Gates sucks!' rant.

Some folks have such blind loyalty to the Sony brand that they'd never, ever consider buying a Microsoft product, though they are the same ones who prolly use PCs to access this site and other sites. For others, you know, that's life. Folks deal with it and move on.

Personally, I have all the systems so I don't care. It would be a very, very interesting move if MS made good on it. I'd pay cash money to see the aftermath from the Sony camp.

I would start PC gaming....but probably need a windows PC, so MSFT still wins, sneaky MSFT.

No, EA has never made a game that I like, except for The Battle for Middle Earth. But RTS games can only be played on PC.

I wouldn't buy a 360 if EA went exclusive with them. If Rockstar or Square Enix did, I would consider it.

The only shame for me would be Burnout (but still it will not happen...)

I am looking for reasons not to buy EA stuff at this time, so that might just do it again. My hope is if that happened, then the NFL would decide that EA no longer would have an exclusive license with them.

If you claim that it's a true racing feeling you should only buy games from ea...shift is a terrible game..
