"Porn Game" The Killer app uncovered.

I say is jokingly for the 360 but it is almost a given that they will emerge for the PC.

I'm sure Natal will run and work just as smoothly as Vista did at launch

I don't think MS cares too much about the controllerless aspects of Natal outside of their marketing.  They are basically handing Natal to developers and telling them to do with it what you will.  Kudo has stated a couple time I believe about the possibilities of the Natal controller hybrid.

As far as feedback, sound and visuals are enough.  People playing on PC with mouse and keyboard don't have rumble, and they seem to do alright.

If that is true then that  kind of defeats the whole idea of Natal.  Using a controller for gaming doesn't set it apart from Wii-mote or Sony's wand. On a level playing field, cost could be a huge problem for Natal.

well games will be the main problem.

party wii esque titles will flood natal and ps wand and should do well.

but for core gamers i dont think there will be much.

i just watched the burnout video, why would someone want to hold out there arms like that and flipping his feet up and down for accelerator.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

price. It's all about price.

It needs:
-Bundled games
-An affordable price tag
-Precise accuracy and very little/no lag

One correction , you move your right foot forward to go , backward to stop. As one guy comment in the video "it make no sense to your brain but it's effective"  Natal may be ideal for exercises.

I agree with the four issues in the article, and I'll add two more.

First is software. Microsoft needs a killer app on the scale of Wii Sports to get people to buy this thing in large numbers. The problem here is that Wii Sports already exists, so a copycat isn't going to be good enough.

Second is versatility. The genius of the Wii Remote is that it can be used so many different ways. It can be held like a bat, club, or sword for heavily motion controlled games. It can be used as the original NES controller was used. Even then it has the added advantage of tilt control like is used in racing games. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination functions great as a traditional controller too.

The question right now is how Natal is going to work for all genres. I have not seen how an on screen character will be moved in a 3D environment. I have not seen how games which require a lot of buttons will be translated into motions. If Microsoft comes up with a feasible solution, great. But if Natal is limited in the types of games it can play, then I think adoption will be low and slow.

I don't know about you guys but I would love to have a natal that works while watching a movie. Get a phone call and want to talk a second and cant find the damnd remote? Just hold your hand out like your waiving at someone to stop and it does. Want to skip ahead a chapter? Just act like your flipping a page in the air. There are so many things natal should be able to do other than just games. I for one am very very interested in natal's potential. It not only has the opportunity to change the way we game, but damnd near everything else that we do that involves electronics.

It could also be a godsend to people who are handicapped and can't move parts of their body.
