I always enjoy playing fable.
I predict at least a 90 on metacritic with something around 4-4.5m being sold :p

You do know that the "Say something about the poster above you" was locked because it had too may post right? |
Wow I did not know that. Why would they lock a thread for having too many posts, that seems rather odd.
Seeing as the Trophies thread has like 8k posts, I imagine the "say something about the poster above you" thread had to have had at least 10k posts.

Um....Mass Effect 2? Fable shouldn't even be uttered in the same sentence.

yep, your right. Once a thread hits 10,000 posts it get locked.

Well they both really are great games. But i'm inclined to say your right about Mass Effect being in its own world (for awesomness)
@dsister44--I guess we'll have to get this thread up to 9,999 posts then

I was very entertained by the game even with the lack of challenge. Because I enjoyed the controls and the little things. It wasn't a game I played for hours on end, but one I played here and there and really enjoyed what there was. Hell, I rarely find a single player game that provides me with any challenge anymore anyway. |
It's not so much challenge, it's that it renders so much of the game pointless.
why are there different monsters? why even get experience when level doesn't matter? what's the point of magic or potions?
in fallout 3 you could set it to easy if you want, but theres still a POINT to doing things in it.
fable 3 broke thegenre in a bullshit way
imagine a racing game where if you werent in first it just kept adding laps until you crossed one in first then the race was over.
thats kind of like fable 2.
worst way ive spent money on a new game this year aside from alone in the dark wii (yes im a retard and now i always read reviews first)
@Jagged
true totally, i just got it at a time i also got midnight club 4, gears 2, and fallout 3
so it really paled in comparison to all those
if i grabbed it for ten bucks now, i might feel a bit different, still tho, i feel like after all the hype, it was a pretty big letdown
I have a hard time imagining how anyone could like Fable 2. When I started playing it I thought it seemed like it was going to be a really cool adventure, but it didn't get any better. Every part of the game was boring, the fighting, the quests, social interactions... Everything seemed like a worthless gimmick added to an empty shell of a game.
The story was the only thing I didn't find to be shitty.
