Those would be ENORMOUS Others sales, I doubt it can do that. It might be able to manage 550k in Japan and 1.7 million in America (maybe a bit high), but it won't sell that well in Others.

People seem to forget about the current economic climate. People are going to be even more price sensitive that usual this year, which means the arcade is going to keep the 360 (which will take share from the PS2 and Wii) just above the PS3, which will get a nice 50% yoy boost from its price cut. Wii price cut will help mitigate it is decline, but it is definitely on the way down and may be soon headed to a precipitous decline due to saturation.

You forget, that Europe is PS3 land. Also, Uncharted 2 is true GOTY this year. PS3 reached mass market price, and will enter Christmas with this price.

There also left nothing to hate on PS3 first time. Right price, right games and it only does everything.

This December will prove how really strong PlayStation brand still is. Well, thanks alone to pricecut and slim version it sold over 1 mln. during first 3 weeks of September and that is saying a lot.
