Combined over the last 3 weeks the PS3 has outsold the Xbox360 by a total of 659,611 in Hardware sales!

The current gap between the two is 7.55 million.

Come hollidays, I see the PS3 outselling the 360 by another 2.5 million consoles.

ps3 it's selling faster than 360 did, and xmas bump likely be bigger.

Sounds ok, it's plausable.

I doubt it will manage to close it much more than that this year though.... my bet is the gap will be closer to 6 million (somewhere between 5.5 and 6) but 5 million is not out of reach.

It is still premature to take any conclusions at all, but quite possible.Somewhere between 5 and 6 million would be great for Sony.

That's mighty swell. That should shut activision up or whoever it was that didn't want to support PS3 anymore if they didn't drop the price and get more consoles sold.

I predict the Forza 3 bundle and MW2 bundle will keep the 360 above 7 mill even turning it back to 8 mill. As of October 22nd 360 will outsell Ps3 WW. Selnors prediction.

Except Sony did what Activision said, so surely Activision should keep talking and get Sony to do more things.

I think japan is whats going to keep the PS3 above the 360, I think its likely the 360 is going to be the top seller in november*U.S*, and part of october. Wii is a questionable one, I dont know what to assume with its $199 price, making it the cheapest console on the market once again.  Also Others may go to the PS3 for the rest of the year, the wii had no price cut in the UK, but I do expect a boost in other regions. The 360 is going up obviously, but once FF XIII hits japan, ps3 may set another record in HW sales.
