You do realize Hypothetically Speaking if MS did this godforbid... the PlayStation brand would be gone right?

Not gone, just severely weakened. No single third party has the influence in the gaming market to cripple a console brand. Not EA, not Activision. The EA of the past would have. And half of Activision only makes PC games, anyway.
