I'm surprised, compared to the other Halos it got a lot less hype. I saw a bunch of people playing it yesterday.

Both metacritics and gamerankings have halo 3 above killzone 2 so what reviews are you talking about?

KZ2 is far from the generally accepted game.

Oh come on, dude. Halo 3's metacritic and gamerankings score are higher than Killzone 2, even if the difference is very marginal. And sales speak for themselves.

Killzone 2 is just so much more satisfying to play. I was playing both Halo3 and KZ2 the other day just to test it.  Halo just doesn't have the realistic AI and animations to make shooting enemies so satisfying every time you do it.  Halo does have the co-op i'll give it that.

Perhaps Killzone 2 does have better campaign AI.  I definitely noticed them flanking me tons through the campaign, but we're talking about multiplayer mostly, where Halo truly shines.  Even Halo: CE was mostly known for multiplayer (the big LAN game of the Xbox scene until Halo 2 brought Xbox Live play).

And yet it still sucks. Amazing really. Just goes to show you that your could put the word Halo on just about anything and sell a couple million. They should name the next Killzone, Killzone 3 Halo edition and would sell gangbusters
