Forums - Website Topics - Anyone have an old GAF account they no longer want?

I tried to sign up there once but it asked for a proper email adress and I don't have one (just hotmail)

Heh, the internet is always a great place for a laugh. So many grudges and animosity for people that will never see one another in real life. I think we all need a hug.

*Hugs*

Ah well, it was a great post ioi... great job on keeping to the facts and never stooping down to any level but your own. Maybe we can all learn a little something from that.

Just sign up to get a GAF account - it isn't hard. The harder bit is keeping it.

There can be a longish hanging-around period to get admitted as a junior member, and there is a six-month period where any stepping out of line results in permanent ban. Even after that it is fairly strictly policed.

I have the same name here, and GAF, and GameFAQs and Kotaku - nothing to hide, nothing to be ashamed about. And there's no reason for anyone to collectively hate any of these sites - they have their own different things that they are good for.

It says I need a paying email account?

How do I get around that hotmail or yahoo don't work

You can't get around it.  They make sure that their posters value their accounts because they make it very difficult to make another one if you're banned.  You need to use, say, a school e-mail or an e-mail given to you by your provider.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

ioi should have let the numbers speak for themselves.

Getting involve din this cross website pissing match does no good for the reputation or respect fo the site.

More accurate numbers will do that. And to be honest VGchatz can be off by a huge amount sometimes.

@kowenicki
We do, from time to time, adjust figures..it's an unfortunate part of the process. At least we admit and fix where we make mistakes though=P

You know, I would create an account just to create like four hundred threads just with this post.
