Depending on the games... this could turn out VERY well for PS3.

As for Natal, in a way its good news, but in a way it could be bad news too.

Its making the devs think about new titles and ways to play games, which is very good. But will the Japanese devs completely ignore it and start to make PSWii multiplats?

The parallels of the 360 reboot with natal is eerily similar with the start of this gen:

Sony last out the gate. MSFT last out the gate with natal.

Sony the most expensive yet impressive tech. MSFT the most expensive yet most impressive tech.

Sony falling flat on its face. MSFT............

The only difference is it bodes worse for MSFT because addons generally fall incredibly flat because it doesnt differentiate the product.

If Capcom wanted MH3 on the PS3, they wouldnt have canned the project in the first place.

Hmm...I don't know what to make of this.

But this is my prediction:

Natal is going to get a lot of shovelware, the games that really shine will come from Microsoft's in-house studios or 3rd party partners (2nd party games).

I have no comment on the Wii ports. But Sony will use its first party studios to bring some unique ambitious casual games while 3rd party publishers will use the tech to create hardcore games.

It's a very weak prediction, I know. XD But that's my point, I don't know what to make of this, really. It all depends on the software to back them up.

I do think, though, that we could see PS3 ports of PC RTS or point and click adventure games in the future.

If they are smart there would be a MH3G and MHP3G releasing around the same time with connectivity between the 2.

Someone said this before, but imagine a new Elder Scroll's, but...... with motion controlls. Now that would be awsome... Holy shit a nymphs rushing at me *drag the PSmote out of your back sheathe slowly * Kging!. Look , ah, ummm, bird is flying at me *slowly drag the bow of your shoulder and pull an arrow from your holster..... with Coheed and Cambria playing in the background. Pshick! Many an hour would be lost and many a muscle would be gained in my chest and shoulders with that kind of game.

I'm not getting something here I have not used the playstation store in while but I don't think there are games that are 4 gig big avaialble on download.Wii games are in gigs already and to put them in Hd means even more space is needed so you are friend are being profoundly short sighted.

I know you're kidding, but I'd go with marketshare and the fact they already canned their MH PS3 project a while ago.
