Well, reading Denise's quote again, she is saying there won't be a media summit event, not just in America, so it looks like there won't be an October Conference this year anywhere.

Last hopes fall on the September event.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

but one thinks why would nintendo announce megaton's in an event in london?

In America?

Last year's key conference was in Japan. That's what we're looking forward to.

Is the Japan conference still happening?

@arsenal: We don't know if it's happening or not. Denise said they won't be having a media summit this year, which can be taken as NoA won't be having one or as Nintendo won't be having one. Difficult to say since she didn't specify.

Yup, let me be the first to say...

Nintendo is Doomzed.

It would really suck if it were true Worldwide... damn

Ill wait for official word, although it is getting pretty late to announce one

Like I said in the other thread, if she really meant no more conferences worldwide this year, then London on Sept. 15th would be cancelled as well. Since we know it's still on, we can assume she's talking about America.

If the Japanese conference were off or cancelled, we'd hear about it from Nintendo headquarters.
