Lets see.
I guess Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Valkyria Chronicles or maybe Uncharted. The last will be topped with Uncharted 2 though, and the mentioned title might make it as THE favorite game of this gen.

Super Mario Galaxy and Mass Effect, both are utterly absorbing games, with stunning graphics and brilliant soundtracks.

Similarities aside Galaxy is a true 3D platformer, with more new ideas than dozens of other games, and is a joy to play start to finish. Mass Effect was just the space opera I needed last summer-the characters in particular are highly memorable, and the sense of momentum and fate, choice and consequence in the main narrative really was amazing.

I eagerly anticpate the sequels to both games.
