Either in those of average Joe. I think Apple might outperform Ninty in such a way that DS may start appearing more specialized and sophisticated gaming device than iPod. In other words, too hardcore.

What losing platforms have said about winning platforms for years. You sound like a Mac user.
The problem is that quality really does flow from quantity. Even if 99% of the App Store's offerings are worthless to you, that still leaves you with 500 apps to enjoy and climbing. That quality of choice attracts consumers, and as download revenue rises, so does the quality of iPhone games as developers work hard to attract the attention of those consumers.

That is so rubbish, they have basically just lied at numerous points through that thing
And who here is going to get that version of Assassin's Creed instead of the PSP version (if they are getting a portable one) and the same for Chinatown Wars, the games are just much better on PSP, which is why you get the games on PSP
Too bad they didn't make the $199 iPod Touch 16GB. But even with 8GB: SOLD. My next portable will be the Touch.

The games may not be as nice on the iPod/iTouch, but there are so many other applications available that the DS or PSP do not have and will never have.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

I'm no fan of the iphone, but come on. DSiWare is a joke at this point and doesn't hold a candle to the Appstore. I mean, the biggest thing Nintendo has done since the launch of the DSi is.... disable flashcards? I'm trying to think of other DSi achievements but I'm drawing a blank.

Pathetic at best... with the libarary the DS/PSP has the Iphone will never be able to compete. Developers have no incentive to make AAA games for it for the simple fact that they will be outsold by 99 Cent crap at a 10:1 ratio.
Dont brag Apple... have a couple of multi-million selling games tagged even as high as 50$ and then start bragging. All I see is cheap advertisement from wannabe new IPs. Too bad there are actually a couple of highly original games on the Appstore but they are just lost ammongst the 23k crap...
