The problem is that quality really does flow from quantity. Even if 99% of the App Store's offerings are worthless to you, that still leaves you with 500 apps to enjoy and climbing. That quality of choice attracts consumers, and as download revenue rises, so does the quality of iPhone games as developers work hard to attract the attention of those consumers.
